It's a shame that work are still in progress (really? Still?) up to now. Read all other reviews of this hotel and you will know what I mean. If your only reason is to be next to the Mall, it is still value for money to stay a little further away by getting a cab/uber/grab a taxi than pay for the nightly rate at this hotel. it is now Dec 2015 and yet the facilities they have been saying to be ready soooon are not available or still under construction at present. It claimed to be in the "Soft Opening" MODE for far more than 12 mos. The star rating does not live to its actual presentation. I have travelled the world and stayed at different hotels in many places and did not experienced to stay in a very sub standard quality of accommodation such as this hotel. I would check-in again for the same rate, but seeing that front desk guy again will be a sure mood killer. The buffet breakfast was disappointing, but the area is near the mall which has better food offerings. I would recommend that they get a skilled chef, because they're poor in the food and beverage department. No bathtub for the deluxe room, facilities are on the works. Overall, the rooms are big enough, new and reasonable for the price. I don't mind carrying my own bag, but why'd he offer to do it in the first place only to leave it and gave me carry it on my own to our room. I'm 98lbs with a heavy bag and he didn't do anything. Like I said it was new, and the least he could do was to place it on the trolley and give me a heads up that he'll disappear for a while. The guy from the hotel just left it there with all my valuables without my knowledge. Minutes later, I found my bag abandoned on the floor. I let him take it since he seemed persistent and I needed to fill out the check-in form. Someone from the reception offered to take one of my bags, which was a new and huge shoulder bag. I was warmly greeted by the staff and was off to a good start.
